The Modern Sophisticated Slave

We will examine how the modern world developed, what did it mean for only some, to have written language before vast amounts of the global population? Did the proliferation of written language literally doom us? Does that make it unavoidable? Do structured societies develop control structures as a product of evolutionary pressures? Do those structures persist? Is a world without internet, books , or even written communication the only way to be free?? Are we actually the dumb animals we think all other species are? Are we just sophisticated slaves to pressures we can barely fathom? And are we much more boxed in than we ever could have imagined? Together we will take a journey through time, back to the beginning of history to the first control systems, and then forward in time, and then back again, and then forward, and then back again, and then forward…………..
